When do we use པས། and བ། for questions? What is the difference between them?
For example:
ཁོང་སློབ་ཕྲུག་རེད་པས།
ཁོང་དགེ་རྒན་རེད་བ།

Use -པས། for question questions:
ཁོང་སློབ་ཕྲུག་རེད་པས། ? = “Is she/he a student?”
Use -བ། as a “tag question” (it is a statement, but a hedge):
ཁོང་དགེ་རྒན་རེད་བ། = “She’s/He’s a teacher, right?” (you think you know that they’re a teacher, but you aren’t quite sure, or maybe you don’t want to be impolite and presume that they are, etc.)
