How to Livestream from Zoom to YouTube

  1. Make sure you are completely SIGNED OUT of Zoom. (If Zoom is closed, does NOT mean you are logged out.)
  1. Sign back into Zoom with your @esukhia ID & password
  2. Go to your google account in Chrome
  1. Open your esukhia google calendar

  2. Click the link inside the zoom meeting you would like to start

  3. Zoom will automatically open

  1. Meeting will open in Zoom.

  2. Click “More” in the Meeting Controls.

  3. Click “Live on YouTube.”

  4. Log in to Google Account and/or YouTube Channel

  5. After you authenticate successfully, the following page displays:

  6. Specify the following settings on the Broadcasting to YouTube Live page:

  • Title your Live stream Zoom Meeting:
    – The lesson number where you will begin the lesson, for ex:
    • གནས་ཚད་གྱི་ཨང་གྲངས་ (level A0), ལེ་ཚན་གྱི་ཨང་གྲངས་ (chapter 01-12), བྱེད་སྒོའི་ཨང་གྲངས་ (activity 1-30):
      • དཔེར་ན། A0-03-13
    • གནས་ཚད་གྱི་ཨང་གྲངས་ (level A1-B2), ལེ་ཚན་གྱི་ཨང་གྲངས་ (chapter 01-12), མཐའ་འབྲས་ཀྱི་བྱེད་སྒོའི་ཨང་གྲངས་ (mission 01-02), གོ་རིམ་གྱི་ཨང་གྲངས་ (step 01-06):
      • དཔེར་ན། A1-10-02-05
  • Select the Privacy settings - you can choose Public, or Unlisted.

  2. Wait (You will now see a progress bar, letting you know that your session is being prepared for streaming.)

  3. Wait for the notification from the Zoom client that you are Live on YouTube

  • THE AUDIO FROM THE YOUTUBE WILL PLAY - TO NOT DISTURB:
    1. CLOSE THE YOUTUBE
    2. OR MUTE THE STREAM in YouTube
  1. Begin your meeting from Zoom as usual

  2. Streaming stops automatically when you “End Meeting”

  • or click “More” and then “Stop Live Stream” in the meeting controls.
